They Just Don’t Get It

I am sure like many of you their  have been numerous e-mails stating that you have won a lottery from some foreign country or someone is giving you their sob story.  Sometimes I e-mail these individuals to inform them that their deeds have dire consequences.

If they knew that their is no escape from greed, manipulation of others they would not try to take advantage of gullible individuals.  When a person dies they must play back on the others side (Astral Plane) all their transgressions.  They will do it with their astral body which is not dense as it is here on the Earth plane.

These individuals will play back their earthly life and feel the pain they have caused others ten fold and experience tremendous suffering.  When they take on another body they will also experience much suffering do to  karma (the sum of a person’s actions in this or previous states of existence, viewed as deciding their fate in future existences.)

There was an individual who, in a past life, had stolen from others and in this life had to pay the consequences of those past actions.  This individual was in a loan business as a salesman trying to help people get loans for their enterprises.  The salesman worked unknowingly with an owner who manipulated others.

It so happened that eventually the local authorities arrested  the manager for taking advantage of  others in order to make money.  The salesman, who was honest and truly trying to help other people obtain loans was also arrested.

It happened that an undercover police officer had recorded conversations between the manager and other people who were also trying to scam others.  The salesman was not privy of the goings on.  The salesman was arrested because of a past life stealing from others and had to experience being put in jail.

Yes, there is no escape and if the people of the world knew that karma and past lives are a part of our journey towards God these transgressions would not happen.

Forgiving the Nazi

There was a woman who had passed on who  was learning to forgive the Nazi who had murdered her in the concentration camp.  She was surrounded by Light Beings trying to help her to meet this individual and yes forgive him.  The Nazi who had passed on as well was emaciated  both physically  and emotionally  due to his transgressions.  I do not know if the woman actually did  forgive him.  There must be a very strong lesson for this woman who had to learn forgiveness.

Book, Testimony of Light, by Helen Greaves

I find it difficult when religious individuals ask us to forgive someone else but find it difficult to forgive themselves i.e. guilt, anger, control, negative thoughts to  name a few.  Often when doing a session I will ask this question to my client, “what does forgiveness mean?”  Most often an individual will not know the answer.  It simply means “letting go.”

When we let go, we cannot be a victim to whatever is keeping us back from our true selves.  I will also ask  a client,”what do you get by holding onto ………….?How would that change you if you let go of…………?”  Not so easy to answer the latter question.  When a person holds onto emotional baggage it keeps him/her safe because it is familiar.

A person can learn to forgive themselves first before passing away to learn that art of letting go.  Again, it is difficult to forgive another unless you forgive yourself first.  So, let go, let go, let go.

The lesson in Atlantis

Sometime back in Seattle  I was directing a class on past lives to help individuals learn something relevant about their past and possilbe present situation.  I never thought that one individuals  past life would have a profound  impact on me.

This individual knew she was in  the Continent of Atlantis.  She remembered swimming in the water with Dolphins and Sharks with no fear of being hurt and quite happy.   On shore was her family and others having a wonderful time.

The next scene she saw things falling from the sky which seemed like rocks and as she looked at the shore people were running in fear. As we progressed she was to pilot others to safety a long distance from where she was now.  While still in a deep trance she knew that some of the people were not going to make it including herself.

As it turned out she also died before reaching her destination.  I asked her how she felt  about that lifetime and she stated that she took the fear instead of the joy when she passed over.

This episode stayed with me a long time.  As individuals we have a choice to live with fear or  joy.  It is never too late to release the false self and rejoice in who you are even if the world turns against you.

So, the question how does one release the fear and once again, feel the love that resides in ones heart.  It is important to know that you have set up each situation whether bad or good.  When it is not to your liking or expectation, ask yourself why did I attract this situation to myself?  Once you understand the reason, attracting the same situation will be diminished or gone from your life.

Most of all one’s life is formulated in the early years of childhood from 0 to 7 or 8.  Know that it is the child within (inner child) that needs to be loved, acknowledged and of course not judged.

“True Love is not for the fainted hearted or the weak.  It is born of strength and understanding.”  - Meher Baba

Our nation in pain

We have just celebrated the 4th of July with fireworks and talks on how we came to be a free nation.  Being a free and independent nation has its responsibilities which we have dearly neglected not only with our environment but with other sovereign nations as well.

We as a country have controlled others with misuse of power, manipulation, and greed.  The United States of America will have to pay a karmic debt.  The oil spill in the Gulf is only the beginning.  If you have been reading the papers, you would have seen that we are on a collision course with Mother Nature.

It reminds me of what had happened to Rome, ah yes, the  fall of Rome to be exact.  They had overextended themselves, were greedy, and had lust for power.

Religion in itself cannot change the course of events.  Religion created separatism to get a point across.  For our nation to heal it must  put God, which is beyond religion, first and then possibly our nation can begin to heal.  This can only happen when you as an individual open your heart and release the fears that have kept you trapped from your true self.  And, your true self is LOVE and LOVE is not separate from God.

As for me, I believe it is too late for our nation to heal and our karmic debt must paid. However, you  as an individual can heal if you have  the courage to go inside and release those bindings that have kept you from LOVE.

Muhammad the Prophet

One evening I had a dream sitting a nice comfy chair feeling content.   Soon after my master, Meher Baba, appeared.  He took a book off a shelf and  gave me a book on Muhammad to read.  I felt great joy holding the book in my hand.

After that dream, I strongly felt that I should  obtain a book on Muhammad to have an understanding of His life.  In fact, I found the same book at a bookstore  that was given to me in the dream.  I felt Meher Baba not only provided a clue to a past life but also a connection to the passion I had felt believing in Him.

A few weeks back, I attended a local Mosque and the  first person I met said, “welcome to God’s House.”  It was a  wonderful feeling to be greeted in such manner.  However, just as I  had attended my local church with  its rituals and ceramonies the mosque provided the same sense of dogma.  Hence, I felt no need to return in my pursuit  of Islam and the Prophet Muhammad.

Many  people feel Islam and or Muhammad were advocates of war and wanting to convert the world to Islam which is the furthest from the truth.  In fact Muhammad honored both Jesus and Abraham and told his followers to respect both Christians and Jews.

The emancipation of women was a project dear to the Prophet’s  heart.  The Quran gave women rights of  inheritance and divorce centuries before Western women were accorded such status.  The Quran prescribes some degree of segregation and veiling for the Prophet’s wives, but  there is  nothing in the Quran that requires the veiling of all women or their seclusion in a separate part of the house.  Also the Quran makes men and women partners before God, with identical duties and responsibilities.

Yes, Muslims had more then one wife as that was the custom in that time period.  It was through Muhammad that He gave women more autonomy and  independence.

In future  blogs, I shall provide more information on the Prophet and Islam.
